As guests arrived to the ranch's private beach, Classics IV String Quartet provided an excellent mix of classical string compositions and modern pop renditions of Stephanie and Rob's favorite songs. We had a microphone and speakers set up for the ceremony that was performed by Stephanie's father. After the memorable ceremony, guests were directed by our fabulous coordinator, Joy Proctor of Joy de Vivre, to cocktail hour at the barn, where we played an eclectic mix of pop, classics, and indie tracks that set the mood for the evening to follow.
The rustic barn was transformed to a rustic and beautiful setting by floral maestro Nico Cervantes of Nico Designs. He and his staff were once again incredible and the flowers and decorations in the barn were to die for. Please go on to his Bitchy Bride blog for some amazing photos and avant garde wedding ideas. Our caterer for the evening was Ashley Transki and Brian Congdon's Duo Catering. Such an amazing menu, with gourmet hor d'oeuvres (killer original creations - nothing like we've seen at other weddings), and a fantastic steak and lobster dinner for all their guests.
Our energetic bridal party made their entrance to the barn to "Club Can't Handle Me Right Now" by Flo-rida. Stephanie and Rob's then danced their First Dance to a special edit of Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed". Toasts throughout the evening were very entertaining and heartfelt. Rob's father's wit and charm was evident in his impromptu toast which brought the house down. The dance party that followed was a fantastic mix of old and new songs. Stephanie and Rob wanted to keep it fun, entertaining, with a lot of new club tracks and 90's classics thrown in as well. We had our photo booth set up in the lounge half of the barn, where guests had a bit of fun on the side, with a variety of props to choose from.
Stephanie and Rob surprised their guests with late night snacks brought in from In-and-Out Burger - burgers of all sizes and kinds, even from the secret menu. Their guests formed a conga line to one of Stephanie's favorite songs, Gigi D'Agostino's "I'll Fly with You". We ended with the same song they came in, which was Florida's "Club Can't Handle Me", but the crowd wanted more, and chanted school cheers from Rob and Stephanie's Alma Maters.
The photos below do not do this wedding justice (taken by Gavin) - but our superb photographer Braedon took some amazing shots - please check this amazing artist of a photographer out!
