How to throw a great Holiday Party :)

Here are some quick ideas from us to you - to keep your office holiday party fun and unforgettable!

Start with aTheme!

Themed events get your guests excited about the possibility of dressing up (maybe in costume!) and about the venue, the decorations, the food, and the entertainment! It mixes up the old ugly sweater theme, and you can be sure that attendance will be high and your guests will have fun right up to the very end! Some theme ideas:
Movie theme: Star Wars, Caddyshack, Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction 
Exotic location: Persian theme, Cuban Theme, French Theme, Outer Space
Misc. dress-up: Nautical, 70s, 80s, Fairytale
We can help with your theme with great lighting effects - uplights, gobos, draping, pin spots, area washes, and even moving effects - snow and bubble machines, lasers, disco balls, and more! Just tell us your theme and we'll offer some ideas :)

Give Back

Giving back to the community is something that all of us strive to do. A call to action to your guests (before the event) makes the nature of the event more interesting and exciting. This could be as simple as asking them to bring a can of food or a toy to the party for those in need, or even a small monetary donation to a personal cause. Or charge a partipation fee to play at your Casino Night themed party, for example - proceeds of which would go to a charity. Just involve a charity of your choice at your next office holiday party!
You can also give back to your guests at your party with party gifts and more - if they are your employees, you may surprise them with bonuses, a paid group holiday trip, or whatever your budget allows. 

Raffle Excitement

A raffle is a fun and engaging activity at holiday parties that does not break the bank. From t-shirts, coffee mugs, to dinner for two, or a night's stay at the local resort - these are great raffle prizes that can be drawn at multiple times throughout the night.

Ask us about microphone and speaker rentals so you can address your guests, and host the raffle!

Games and Guest Participation

Competitive group activities are the key to break the ice - especially for the shyest of staff and their guests. Try a game of trivia to dismiss winning tables to the dinner buffet, or pitch different groups or departments against each other in group games like Pictionary or Charades. Our MCs can assist in hosting games for you!

Having games already set up at the event venue can also be fun - giant Jenga, Ping pong, or beanbag toss

Unique Entertainment

Hire themed dancers, magicians, musicians, hypnotists, sketch artist, and more - to add a special show with a twist to the usual entertainment. Ask us about any special talent you are interested in using at your party, and we'll put together a custom package for you! 

Photobooth Fun

Now this is a fun addition to any party. You guests can enjoy the booth as a couple, or as a group with collegues or friends! They then get a keepsake of your event in the form of photo strip prints with your custom logo. Ask us about our photo booth packages - open booths, closed booths, special theme props, photo books, and more! 

Karaoke!

Another easy icebreaker for even the shyest of guests! Get your guests to sing solo, as a couple or in a group (e.g.. accounting department singing "Love Shack"). Use this as an ongoing side-show activity (in another part of the party room), or in conjunction with a DJ package as your main entertainment (done sporadically throughout the night). Live Musicians

Put on a fun and lively show for your guests with Live Musicians at your party - either as cocktail and dinner entertainment (used in conjuction with DJ entertainment) or as the main entertaiment.  We have many different cocktail and dinner musicians/styles (e.g. string trio, jazz trio, spanish/pop/classical guitar, etc.) and also full party bands for dancing (all-round party band, 80s band, country band, jazz band, etc).

We have DJs who play a wide variety of music for all ages, who can MC and coordinate activiies, raffles, and games if you'd like.
