Congratulations to Callie and Nick who were married last Saturday 10/15/11 at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse. We set up a sound system at the Courthouse Sunken Gardens with microphones for their officiant and readers. The Mariachi band played as guests took their seats, and for the bridesmaid and Callie's processionals and Nick and Callie's recessional. Once the ceremony was over, our coordinator for the event, Joy Proctor of Joy de Vivre directed guests to follow the Mariachi band for a two block walk up Santa Barbara Street to the reception at The University Club of Santa Barbara. Cocktails were on the lawn, and dinner and dancing inside the club house. Callie and Nick had a very eclectic music list, with nods to classics by Queen, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, even 60's rock and Motown. We lit up the university club with up lighting, with amber gels to create a romantic candlelit ambiance. We also had our photo booth in the library all set up with our attendant, for their guests to take pictures on the side! It was a fun an intimate night for all of Callie and Nicks guests who danced for hours and were very happy to be part of their big day. We were too :) When MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This" came on, their guests got Callie and her family (the Hammer family) on the floor for a little fun. Thanks Callie and Nick - best wishes from all of us at GRP! Comments are closed.
