Noah is brother to wedding photographer extraordinaire Josh Beller of MiBelle Wedding Photography. Josh and his wife (who is also his business partner, and fellow photographer) Michelle helped our couple plan and coordinate the entire wedding. Michelle Beller assembled some of her favorite wedding vendors to make sure Noah and Alba were in great hands.
We had the opportunity to work with the "photographer's photographer", Jeff Newsom - who's amazing photos of this event are posted on his blog. He's the best - hands down. If you haven't got your photographer yet, call this man now!
Noah's brother and Best Man for the evening, Josh, officiated their ceremony on the back patio. He led the entire procession of family members down the aisle to Sia's "Breathe Me". Our beautiful bride Alba came down the aisle to Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Hard to Concentrate". After Noah broke the glass to a resounding "Mazel Tov!" from their guests, Noah and Alba walked back down the aisle to Martin Solveig and Dragonette''s "Hello". They then led their guests inside for their First Dance to Pearl Jam's "Just Breathe". Noah then welcomed their guests and the buffet stations opened. They had a pizza station, a taco station and a hot dog station as well. We started off music with modern and indie electronic and rock favorites picked out by Noah and Alba.
After toasts by the best man, maid of honor and Noah and Alba's mothers, we kicked off dancing with the Parents' dance - where Alba and her father, Noah and his mother danced to Frank Sinatra's "That's Life". Then the party began with Dion's "Runaround Sue", dedicated, of course, to the mother of the groom. We played music videos that went alongside a special Super8 Video of Noah and Alba that ran on the Marvimon's big screen all night.
Guests danced our mix and the video show that accompanied it. We took a break from dancing to cut the wedding cake - an Oreo Cookie cake - the only cookie cutting that went on as nothing that happened tonight was cliche and overly wedding-esque. We partied until late with the Hora, Salsa, Meringue, Top 40, 80s, classics and took every request that came our way. Great bunch of guests and one of our favorite weddings of all time. Congratulations Noah and Alba! We wish you the best in your new lives together!!
P.S. The photo's below were taken by DJ Gavin - we love him, but he ain't no Jeff Newsom - check out Jeff's blog for the real deal!
