Their wedding, the following day, was held at the Bacara Resort and Spa. Here are some images of their ceremony with our STRING QUARTET in action: |
An amazing weekend of celebration for Emily and Emmanuel's wedding started with a rehearsal dinner at Viva Mexican Restaurant in Santa Barbara. Our SALSA TRIO played for their guests at this fun and fabulous 3-hour dance party. During the ceremony, we were proud to have our classically trained singer Rachel take the stage to sing Shania Twain's "From This Moment" during the Rose Presentation to Parents. Once Emily and Emmanuel kissed a the end of the ceremony, guests were instructed to shake maracas (which were placed under each seat). This signaled our Mariachi band to pop out and surprise everyone with jubilant tunes! Then our band walked all the guests over in a procession to cocktail hour, where more fun ensued :) Toward the end of cocktail hour, Emmanuel surprised Emily by serenading to her - dressed as one of our Mariachi band members! Here is our lighting in the ballroom, with color wash changes: Then our professional dancers got the crowd inspired for the dance party: And they danced. All night! To DJ Gavin Roy! Live music at a wedding ceremony is a very nice addition to the main event of the day. Whichever instrumentation you decide, make sure it reflects your style, heritage, and taste.
