Elizabeth and Jake had ordered warm weather for their January wedding in beautiful Santa Barbara. Their ceremony and reception were held atop the Canary Hotel roof. Our wedding planner that day was Shelley Eschelman of Simply Santa Barbara events, who made every part of Elizabeth and Jake's day flow ever so smoothly. It was a fantastic day on the Canary Hotel's rooftop for Mariangelica and Mario's wedding reception on 12/17/11. DJ Gavin Roy played alongside Somos Son for an unforgettable latin-infused party vibe that celebrated the liveliness and energy of our couple and their amazing guests. Mario and Mariangelica are very passionate about their music, as they both come from rich musical backgrounds. Mariangelica being a lead singer in a band back home, was very pleased that we played a few of her songs during the meal hour - her songs were received with lots of applause from the guests. We were also very honored to have our talented bride serenade our groom, a cappella, in her toast to him after the cake cutting. Even our flower girl sang a special song for our couple during the reception, to wild applause from the guests.

We were fortunate to have the one and only Zohe Felici as our event planner, who made sure everything was perfect - from the delicious spread of food from the Canary Hotel, to the flowers from Nico Designs, and all the events that happened throughout the day, which were captured by photographer extraordinaire, Baron Spafford. We are very grateful to have some of Baron's work is previewed in this blog, but check out his site for more great pics!
