Their wedding, the following day, was held at the Bacara Resort and Spa. Here are some images of their ceremony with our STRING QUARTET in action: |
An amazing weekend of celebration for Emily and Emmanuel's wedding started with a rehearsal dinner at Viva Mexican Restaurant in Santa Barbara. Our SALSA TRIO played for their guests at this fun and fabulous 3-hour dance party. During the ceremony, we were proud to have our classically trained singer Rachel take the stage to sing Shania Twain's "From This Moment" during the Rose Presentation to Parents. Once Emily and Emmanuel kissed a the end of the ceremony, guests were instructed to shake maracas (which were placed under each seat). This signaled our Mariachi band to pop out and surprise everyone with jubilant tunes! Then our band walked all the guests over in a procession to cocktail hour, where more fun ensued :) Toward the end of cocktail hour, Emmanuel surprised Emily by serenading to her - dressed as one of our Mariachi band members! Here is our lighting in the ballroom, with color wash changes: Then our professional dancers got the crowd inspired for the dance party: And they danced. All night! To DJ Gavin Roy! Congratulations Emily and Emmanuel!! :) #imwithjowdy was the best hashtag we've seen for Instagram. Congratulations to the new Jowdys - Rachel and Michael on an outstanding weekend of awesomeness. We were honored to be part of their rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, where we provided DJ services at their "white party" at the Bacara Resort poolside cabanas. Such a great couple. Their wedding the following day was full of great energy and we were so happy to work with one of the greatest event planners this side of the Mississippi - Katie Seefeldt of Wedding Kate. We had confetti cannons shooting gold confetti right after their ceremony - which signaled the start to a great night of celebration. Great RnB and hip hop, and today's high energy dance hits were the order of the day - such a solid dance crowd. Congrats to Michael and Rachel!! These amazing photos are courtesy of our friends Marianne and Joe at Marianne Wilson Photography: Here are some LED lighting examples for your inspiration board. Start with your color scheme - fabrics, florals, bridal party colors - then make your entire reception hall your canvas! Here are some different configurations of string lighting that we've done over the years - zig-zag, fan pattern, straight lines - with and without paper lanterns, chandeliers, area washes, and more. Sasha and Steve were married on 7/5/14 at the Bacara Resort and Spa in beautiful Santa Barbara. Their officiant was Rich Tobin, photographer Jessica Lewis, DJ Gavin Roy and wedding planner Ann Johnson. Here is a snapshot of some of their song requests: We also did up-lighting for the ballroom, which was a beautiful blush color by request. This is programmable LED lighting, as opposed to incandescent stage can (Par Can) lighting. So, this meant that during dancing, we had the ability for the colors scroll through an approved color wheel (see 2nd video).
Santa Barbara's Notre Dame School had it's annual fundraising auction this year at the Bacara Resort and Spa. We were very fortunate to have been a part of this year's event, providing all audio (multiple sound systems) and visual (rear projection screens) equipment, as well as draping, uplighting (LED and incandescent), spotlighting (stage and auction items) and staging. Kudos to amazing event planner, Emma Lombardi, who put together a very successful and well coordinated event. Thanks for having us - we hope to be a part of next year's event as well :) Miranda and Matt tied the knot at Santa Barbara's Bacara Resort and Spa on Saturday, April 14, 2012 They pulled together an all-star team to help facilitate their wedding and showcase their love for each other. Even though the wind was blowing, the spirits were high and everyone has happy to have the sun at their backs as they looked out over the great Pacific Ocean. Miranda and Matt gave their vows with Jon Ireland working as officiant on their behalf. With an absolute power trio of Donna Romani, coordination, Bella Vista Designs, lighting, and Blue Magnolia Florals, the entire event was a symphony of aesthetic design. A wedding as beautiful as the love that gave reason for it. The legendary DJ Gavin Roy himself held down the decks for this particular event. For the Grand Entrance the bridal party had a 'themed' entrance going, using songs from Cheers, I Love Lucy, Peter Gun, Hawaii 5.0 (2011 Version), The Real O.C., Beverly Hills 90210, and Friday Night Lights. The bride and groom then went right into their first dance to All My Days. After taking some time to enjoy their dinner, the couple then cut their wedding cake to Married Life, before taking up their loved ones in the Father/Daughter dance (I Wish You Love) and the Mother/Son (In My Life). They then opened the dance floor to all their guests, and without a doubt there was not a person in the house who didn't make their way out to boogie on down on the dance floors. Congratulations to Miranda and Matt! Check out more photos at http://www.beauxartsphotographie.com/ Photos below taken by GRP It was one of the best Sweet 16th parties we've ever had to be a part of - Congratulations Bella! Spencer Fischer and Gavin Roy rocked the dance party while playing music videos all night long. Gavin Roy Presents also featured our very own photo booth which played photos on a screen throughout the night. Bella Vista Designs did an amazing job with all the lighting and draping. Bella's boyfriend Nick, put together a great slideshow presentation for Bella and her friends to enjoy. Hands down the party of the year at the Bacara Resort and Spa. Congratulations Bella! |
