The site for this life-long step was the beautiful Montecito Country Club which sits atop of the Santa Barbara Riviera.
The backdrop for the outdoor ceremony included the Channel Islands, the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful hills of Santa Barbara.
As guests made there way from cocktail hour into reception, they were greeted by dramatic tall centerpieces which included bright blue flowers and green branches. To add to the drama, we installed amber uplights which helped bring a richness to the white walls of the country club.
The grand entrance started off with the bridal party walking in to “This Will Be” by Natalie Cole.
Then the applause was thunderous as James and Anna entered to Carl Carlton’s “Everlasting Love”
The highlight of the night was the very romantic First Dance. Instead of a pre-recorded song for this special moment, James and Anna danced to “Marry Me” which was performed live by one of their close friends… Steven Shook. You could definitely feel the love in the air as this awe inspiring rendition was performed perfectly.
Right after that Anna, danced with her father for the very special Father Daughter dance to “My Wish” by Rascall Flatts.
Then James danced with his mom to the all time classic “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King.
With the formalities complete, the dancing began!
Guests got their boogie on to the sounds of DJ Zeke who kept the energy flowing for the rest of the night.
With Sophie Spier’s leadership as the wedding coordinator and a wonderful staff at the Montecito County Club along with DJ Zeke representing Gavin Roy Presents, the execution of this special event was impeccable from start to finish. Family and close friends had a great time, but most importantly, the new Mykytenko’s had the time of their lives.
