Tom married his love - Laura Love! The dreary, cold, first week of Fall changed it's tune to be clear, warm and sunny - just for Laura and Tom, who were married at the Cabrillo Arts Pavilion at East Beach in beautiful Santa Barbara. Their beach ceremony was presided upon by Laura's close friend, Susan Copeland, who gave our couple a perfect ceremony. Our florist was the Village Gardener, who also provided lush palms for the ceremony and also in the reception hall. After the kiss, Laura and Tom walked back down the aisle in celebration to One Republic's "Good Life". Their coordinator was none other than Armando Martinez of Alegria by Design, who produced the look and feel of this entire event to the finest detail. The banquet was a buffet of gourmet comfort food of macaroni and cheese, tacos, fajitas, and much, much more - catered by the fabulous Sarah and Juan of Omni Fresco. Our photographer for the day was Melissa Musgrove and her assistant Dimitri, who captured the highlights of the evening - even the surprise song that the father of the bride sang after dinner. The dance party was an eclectic mix of country, 80's, top 40, pop, hip hop and more. There were lots of requests and song dedications - everything from "Barbie Girl" to "Cotton Eyed Joe" to the "Electric Slide" came from close friends who loved to dance - and sing! Tom's love for bands like Sublime and Slightly Stoopid was evident towards the later half of the night, when Tom ruled the dance floor and even got his groomsmen doing a little mosh pit that was very cool to see at a wedding ;) One of the best weddings in a while - a great couple who deserved a fantastic day. Our best to Laura and Tom - congratulations! Comments are closed.
