Josh "Hecktik" Stanford

Music is his savior, and DJ Hecktik continues to save us all with outstanding style and incomparable skill. Hecktik is Santa Barbara's most established turntablist and club DJ, consistently dominating DJ battles at DJ Times, Q's and Scratch Magazine as well as being highly sought after as a radio mix show producer. He preforms regularly at Santa Barbara's Velvet Jones, The Whale Tail, Tonic, O'Malley's, Sandbar, Sharkees, Madison's, Jasper's  and Wildcat.

DJ Hecktik hosts a weekday live Mixshow on 103.3FM "The Vibe" and has played on KISS 107.7FM and Q104.7FM. He has also performed on stage and in the studio with hip hop artists KRS-ONE, Jizza from the Wu-tang Clan, Too Short, Taleb Kweli, Damizza, and Slum Village.

Devoted to his community, DJ Hecktik volunteers his talent at SB DJ Academy Scratch classes, and the local YMCA and Girls & Boys Club.
