Jocelyn and Shawn were married at the Rincon Beach Club. Angie Chavez and her team made sure everything went more than perfect. Our DJ Spencer was the icing on the cake for an unforgettable evening of solid entertainment!
Here is a snapshot of their music to inspire your own lists :)
Kelsey and Evan exchanged their most beautiful vows amidst their most closest friends and family at the beautiful Gardens of Bella Vita Estate in Montecito, Santa Barbara. Sasha and Steve were married on 7/5/14 at the Bacara Resort and Spa in beautiful Santa Barbara. Their officiant was Rich Tobin, photographer Jessica Lewis, DJ Gavin Roy and wedding planner Ann Johnson. Here is a snapshot of some of their song requests:
We also did up-lighting for the ballroom, which was a beautiful blush color by request. This is programmable LED lighting, as opposed to incandescent stage can (Par Can) lighting. So, this meant that during dancing, we had the ability for the colors scroll through an approved color wheel (see 2nd video).
Santa Barbara's Notre Dame School had it's annual fundraising auction this year at the Bacara Resort and Spa. We were very fortunate to have been a part of this year's event, providing all audio (multiple sound systems) and visual (rear projection screens) equipment, as well as draping, uplighting (LED and incandescent), spotlighting (stage and auction items) and staging. Kudos to amazing event planner, Emma Lombardi, who put together a very successful and well coordinated event. Thanks for having us - we hope to be a part of next year's event as well :)
We were honored to be invited back to DJ the Alpha Gamma Pi Sorority's Annual Valentine's Dance for the second year in a row. It was held at the Fess Parker DoubleTree Resort, in the Santa Barbara ballroom. We had he pleasure of working with Bailey from the chapter, who met with us and discussed all the production details and music. Our amazingly talented DJ Hecktik rocked the party - here's a video of him warming up as the students made their way in:

Elizabeth and Jake had ordered warm weather for their January wedding in beautiful Santa Barbara. Their ceremony and reception were held atop the Canary Hotel roof. Our wedding planner that day was Shelley Eschelman of Simply Santa Barbara events, who made every part of Elizabeth and Jake's day flow ever so smoothly. Speaking of smooth, check out our Jazz Duo who played the prelude, ceremony and cocktail hour:

Katrina and Mark were married on Sunday 11/10/13 at the Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara. Their amazing planner for the day was Katie Seefeldt and their DJ was Gavin Roy!
Ceremony Song Selections:
Seating of the Parents: Clair De Lune
Bridesmaids' Processional: Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
Bride's Processional: Canon in D

Their cocktail hour mix comprised of everything from 70s funk and rock, Motown to singer songwriter artists like John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Ray Lamontagne. Their dinner was in the La Marina Room, while dancing was in the El MAr Room. Each member of the bridal party had their own grand entrance theme, and heartfelt toasts came from parents, family and their bridal party.
Katrina and Mark danced their first dance to the Bee Gees' "How Deep is Your Love" and with their parents to Kenny Rogers' "Through the Years". Dancing began with an energetic hora which led to a great mix of favorites from the 70,s 80s, 90s, and today.
DoVall and Bree tied the knot at the beautiful Rincon Beach Club in Santa Barbara on 7/27/13. We were honored to work with in-house planner Angie Chaves the amazing staff of this all in one beachside venue - superb catering, dazzling event lighting, full bar services and more!
Our bride and groom shook the regular ol' wedding format up by having a long cocktail hour with heavy hors d'oeuvres before their ceremony - the ceremony ended with their first dance and parents' dances, which kicked off the dance party immediately. A really fun format for the night, with no time to sit down, just dance and be merry!
Song choice highlights:
Bride's Processional at Ceremony: Labrinth ft. Emile Sande "Beneath Your Beautiful"
First Dance: Elliot Yamin "One World"
Father/Daughter Dance: TIm McGraw " My Little Girl"
Mother/Son Dance: Boyz II Men "Song For Mama"
The dance list consisted of everything from the Temptations to 2 Chainz. "Pretty Much Good Music to Get Them Dancing" - DoVall.
Our DJ Spencer couldn't be happier with the amazing guest energy and here is a video he took of the awesome dance party that evening:
